Keynote speaker: Stew Wolfe

Stew Wolfe serves as an Associate Director in Cisco’s global security practice. In his leadership role, Stew is focused on various areas within the Information Security field including securely addressing changing business models in a borderless world. A risk-based and threat-centric approach is key to protecting assets, enabling successful business outcomes.  In his current role, Stew is focused on cross-architecture plays for security including Data Center, Network and Cloud Cisco services offerings as well as the development of Anything as a Service model.

Stew is a member of ISACA, ISC2 and is ITIL certified with 25 years of IT experience of which 19 years of that was time spent in the Information Security field.  He has worked for the largest IT company in the world in both technical as well as executive consulting roles and “Big 4” consulting firms as a Management Security Strategist.  Experience includes steady-state operations, application development, pre-sales support, system engineer and consulting roles.

Stew is a member of the ISO community and participated in the development of the Cloud Security standard (ISO 27017) as well as holds a Cloud patent #US 8,868,709 B2. Current Cisco responsibilities include training Cisco sales teams on selling security services, meeting with customers to enable security strategies that result in successful business outcomes, employing advisory led and risk-focused security consulting approaches, developing and qualifying sales opportunities, tracking pipeline, achieving sales booking targets and leading proposal responses.  Stew also presents at conferences in order to increase visibility into Cisco’s Security Services approach, capabilities, and offerings.
